Digital transformation and innovation are imperative for all businesses, from the small to the enterprise. They play a critical role in a business’ ability to evolve with the market and continually increase value to costumers – it’s a survival issue for many.

What’s not clear to many business executives is what digital transformation and innovation mean. A recent study* reports that 20,8% of executives from EMEA region consider that competition from market disruptors presents a risk to the growth of their company in the next 12 months.

A clear understanding of what new market innovation can mean for your industry is crucial: it can be a threat but also an opportunity.

September 18— Cyber Security and cloud computing · Co.Station Brussels

According to Gartner, by 2020, a corporate ‘no-cloud’ policy will be as unusual as a ‘no-internet’ policy would be today. Cloud computing is everywhere, and is today not only the work environment for startups. But this “way-of-working” is also often linked to cyber-security questions, and makes it often a reason why corporates are questioning these cloud practices due to fear of cyber attacks. During this session, we will receive an opening on both opportunities and learnings in both domains.

Program:

17:30 – 18:00: welcome
18:00 – 18:30: How to approach cloud computing in relation to cyber security (Öykü Isik – Vlerick)
18:30 – 19:00: Mobile Applications Security (Heidi Rakels/Roel Caers – Guardsquare)
19:00 – 19:30: How to hack the talent supply chain on cyber security in your organisation (Rosanna Kurrer – CyberWayFinder)
