Start with what you have, get more done with less: The entrepreneurial way
One day workshop on resource optimisation
25 September, 09:00 - 18:00
Effectuation (Saras Sarasvathy, 2001) is a decision making and action taking principle. Inspired by entrepreneurs, this is based on you identifying what’s next, best step by assessing the resources available in order to achieve your goals, while continuously balancing these goals with your resources and actions (source).
This one-day workshop offers a hands-on introduction to Effectual Entrepreneurship through a dynamic mix of theory, case examples, group work, and collaborative exercises.
Throughout the day, you will explore the five core principles of Effectuation and apply them directly through team-based exercises and facilitated discussions.
Join us for a one day workshop hosted by Joe Tabet, Trusted Advisor to Entrepreneurs & INSEAD Lecturer as we explore how to do more with less and use the resources that are already available to us.
Objectives:
- Understand the 5 core principles of Effectuation
- Shift mindset from prediction to creative control
- Experience and apply Effectual principles through group work
- Define actionable next steps for your own context
The workshop is preceded by the Masterclass - Entrepreneur, Start-Upper or Inventor: Who Are You, Really? hosted by Joe Tabet on 24 September.
You do not have to join both sessions and they will have different topics, but you are welcome to join the evening discussions too.
Agenda
The day concludes with you designing a personal action plan to bring these insights back to your own organization.
