Building better websites, focused on business growth

People expect you the answer their questions proactively.

Most B2B buyers rely on digital content before making a purchase decision and consume three to seven (some even say 10+) pieces of content before they either make the purchase online directly or connect with a salesperson. According to Forrester, in 2025, half of large purchases  ($1 million or greater) will be processed through digital sales channels.

The expectations of your buyers become more and more complex and your presentation (brochure like) website doesn't really work anymore. It might help keep your business afloat but doesn't contribute to business growth and that's a big missed opportunity. Buyers expect simple solutions, easy to find answers and guided experience that make the buying decision a breeze.

And we're good at building exactly that.

We guide you through our process to build a website that works as a growth engine for your business and has the convincing power of 100 of your best sales people. Your website is probably the the most unexploited asset your business. We're here to help.

Over the past 12+ years and after waaay too many website designs and implementations, we structured a process that works great for us and guarantees that we get a great result within the initially planned timeline and budget.

Here are the main steps:

1. Focus on the strategy first

It’s important to start from the actual problem you want to solve.

Just building a website only to brag that you finally have one, doesn’t help anyone. We discuss business and marketing strategy, marketing objectives and what you want to achieve with your new website. We usually involve the CEO and the marketing, sales, product and hr teams here.

We ask a few questions to understand what needs to happen for all stakeholders:

  • Why do you need a new website?
  • What does “better” actually mean for you and your business?
  • How would that translate into measurable results?
  • What would happen if you only use what you have right now?
  • What would happen if you work with someone that actually build a worse website?
  • And a few more.

All your answers help us understand the bigger context. We can define what are the priorities, what needs to happen and what is just wishful thinking for now (we can build together towards that end goal). The end result will be a detailed brief that focused on the end results you want to achieve for your business.

This stage allows us to make sure we’re on the same page.

2. Build the wireframe

Before anything else, we build the content architecture, user flows and wireframe.

We will have to start by clearly defining the architecture or your website, the structure of each page and the expected user behaviour. You will most probably need a homepage, one about your team, one that describes your services and maybe a blog. But what other pages do you need? What components should each page have and how should the user flow be structured?

Based on the initial briefing and research into your competition, user behaviour with similar solutions and current user behaviour on your website (analytics, search, heatmaps) we will come up with suggestions for how the ideal website structure might look like. We get your input and feedback and build a version that can guide both the content creation and the website design,

3. Design and content fit for purpose

We know what we want to achieve, how the website should behave and we have a structure for the end result so now we have to create a design that sends the right message and supports all the decisions we made so far. This seems like the obvious step.

And that's the magic of this process - it makes a complex effort look easy.

If you have a brand book we can work with that but we can also build a whole new visual identity for the website with a design framework and all the necessary elements. We're focusing on building a design that's both scalable and performs well with your target audience.

Same process with the content. Once we understand where each piece of content fits in the whole architecture, creating the actual content is not that complicated. You might already have most of it and we can help with small fixes OR we can create it from scratch. This part depends a lot from situation to another but we're here to help and fit in as best as possible.

4. Implement a scalable solution

With a clear design and final content, the implementation part is straight forward.

Based on your needs and past team experiences, we can choose together the most appropriate content management system (CMS) to sustain the online growth of your business. The decision usually becomes obvious after the wireframe stage and having already built the design and content, implementing the website will go smoothly.

We usually focus on setting up a CMS that makes it easy for your marketing team to change the content, build new pages and or edit/add new blocks. This way any content change can be ready in minutes, not days, and you don't have to way for the agency to do it.

We worked with Hubspot, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify and probably tasted most CMS solutions out there but we can also build using headless CMS solutions like Contentful, Sanity or even build even more custom implementations start to finish if there's a need.

5. Setup analytics

Most might say that this is it, the website is ready. They would be wrong.

Without proper analytics, we cannot really optimize it and get even better results over time. So this part is really important. You cannot decide what should be the next step if you don’t know how we did so far. It’s like cooking without ever having any access to the person that tastes the food. It can be either really good or really bad and you wouldn't know.

We usually use Google Analytics, Databox, and Hotjar for WordPress websites and Hubspot already has built-in most of the tools we need. We also probably used most of the other tools out there as well so we can adapt to what you need.

A good setup at the start helps you catch problems fast and improve over time.

6. Long term growth

The website is implemented and ready for your team to use.

We will hand over the project and train your team if it helps to use the website from day one. We'll be here to support but we will work with your team and try to make the whole process as simple as possible for them. We're here to help.

Ultimately, you will have a website that truly delivers results and offers more value to the business than it costs. By identifying the actual needs from the outset, we were able to help achieve the desired outcomes for your business while engaging all stakeholders in the process.

We know we're doing a good job when cost becomes irrelevant.
