Meet our guest
Around the world, Sophie works with successful business leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers to develop and execute strategies for global impact. As a coach, advisor, and author, Sophie leverages her global experience, built over twenty years, managing international business expansion projects in 23 countries with projects valued up to US$1 billion.
Her experience spans Global Fortune 500 firms and ASX200 firms, across industries from financial services, advanced manufacturing, oil and gas, and agriculture, Sophie worked with the International Trade Centre (the joint agency of the UN and WTO) in Geneva, facilitating the design and implementation of international trade and investment strategies in developing countries and emerging markets, including the Romanian National Export Strategy.
Sophie is the author of the book, ‘Stuck Here With Everywhere To Go: How to do business out in the world without international’. Her new book, ‘Colour Your World: Expand Your Worldview, Accelerate GLobal Success’ is due in mid 2023.
With five years in the Romanian ERP market, three in the Swedish performance driven environment, four years of entrepreneurial experience, last 10 in the BI related area and the last five years in SAP deep knowledge environment, Mihaela uses her skills to best serve clients’ interests.
From a two employees company to complex national projects and CEE multi-country projects, she enjoys each challenge and delivers with passion, innovative thinking behind strategies and actions, teamwork and attention to details, good planning and process optimization.
During her career, she helped Romanian start-up companies to prepare and go international, as well as Swedish companies, directly or within the framework of Swedish Trade, to do business in Romania and improve exports, as ITC ONU National Consultant for the Romania Export Strategy 2009-2014.
Lastly, Mihaela joined the STOICA.CO team and found her edge deep diving into inbound marketing and sales strategies.
She is passionate about finding the winning approach, really understanding the needs of potential clients and coming up with solutions to answer their needs, and to exceed their expectations.
Working with clients in saturated and more mature markets, Mihaela now experiments with inbound sales and marketing.
